What is ADRENALINE? It is the dynamic, energetic program for teens (grades 6th-12th) offered through First Baptist Church.
It is a combination of high-energy fun, relevant teaching, and meaningful service.
The core of our program is ADRENALINE Live. This is a weekly gathering which includes supper, games, interactive teaching and just hanging out. This happens every Wednesday night (September-April) beginning at 5:45. If you are in sports, come straight from practice. We will feed you a home-cooked meal!
In addition to ADRENALINE Live, we offer weekend retreats, mission trips, service opportunities and numerous special activities: tubing (snow & water), mini golf, rallies, movies, shopping, and this year, hopefully a ski trip!
ADRENALINE participated in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine on Saturday, April 22nd- 23rd. 30 Hour Famine is a fundraising event to help stop world hunger. While students went without food for 30 hours, they worked with local organizations to help fight hunger in the Brainerd Lakes area. Visit https://www.30hourfamine.org/ for more information.
The ADRENALINE group has been going on a short term missions trip every other summer to be God's hands and feet in communities other than their own. Look for a trip in summer 2018.
Worship with 800 of your closest friends! Three times a year our ADRENALINE group heads to Tornstrom Auditorium for B.A.Y. Rally (Brainerd Area Youth) for an evening of music, teaching and fun.
Watch for the 2017-18 Rally dates coming this fall.
Meet at the church at 5:45 p.m. for supper and then to ride together. There is no cost for this event, but a freewill offering will be taken. Bring money for a snack if you want, as we typically stop somewhere on the way home.
After select football and basketball games, youth in Middle School and High School are invited to the church for pizza, fun and games. Adults are present to make pizza and serve drinks! Kids sign in when the arrive and out when they leave. (Once you leave, you cannot return.)
Stay tuned for 2017-2018 dates!
